Your NW Calgary Legal Team: Peter G. Robertson
Our Team

Peter grew up in Calgary and developed a deep appreciation for the great outdoors in Southern Alberta. He enjoys skiing, camping, trail-riding, mountain biking and fly-fishing in the Rockies. As a young man, his course of study took him to universities across the country. The experiences and friendships gained while at University enhanced his professional skills.

After law school, Peter traveled to South America for five months. His first role as a lawyer was in Penticton, British Columbia, where Peter had an excellent opportunity to practice many areas of law in a small-town environment, including family law trail lawyer and acting as a Federal Crown Prosecutor.

Eventually the call of Southern Alberta brought Peter home to Calgary. Now married with two children, he personally understands the issues that concern most families in their journey through life. His goal is to make his clients feel that their present and future needs are protected. He believes in solving disputes amicably whenever possible, and is an advocate of mediation and collaborative law. Peter is an avid music collector, and is learning to play the guitar. He is a big sports fan, and an avid supporter of the Calgary Flames and Stampeders.

Peter G. Robinson, B.A. (Hons.), LL.B., is a Partner in Bodnaruk Robinson LLP practicing in the areas of Real Estate, Wills, and Probate/Dependent Adult applications. Peter received a Bachelor of Arts (Honors Political Science) at the University of Western Ontario in 1989, and an LL.B. at the University of British Columbia in 1992. Originally from Calgary, Peter practiced law in British Columbia for five years before returning to Calgary and he was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1998. He is trained as a mediator and is a registered collaborative family lawyer.

Peter is actively involved in the community, and is Treasurer of the Association for German Education in Calgary. He is also a member of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, Trout Unlimited and the Planetary Society.
